The Legacy Reining Breeders Sale is held annually during October at Green Valley Ranch in Aubrey, Texas. This quality sale offers an unparalleled opportunity to purchase stellar prospects, as well as proven performers and producers. These horses represent some of the best bloodlines in the industry, offered by the top breeders in the business.
Past sale graduates have gone to win prestigious titles, such as the Congress Reining Futurity Championship and several regional futurity and derby Championships. They have made the finals at many of the major reining events, such as the NRHA Open Futurity, the NRBC, the NRHA Open Derby, and the AQHA Congress Futurity.
Past sale graduates have also gone on to do extremely well in resale conditions later in their career, and have earned over $1 Million in the show pen.
A prime example is Dun It In The Bay. This 2003 mare went through the 2004 Legacy Sale, and then sold at the 2005 NRHA Futurity Prospect sale for a record breaking $143,000-the highest price ever paid for a mare at an NRHA sale.
